Precautions for installation of insulation joints:

1. No dead mouth to be welded is allowed within 50m from the insulation joint installation place.

2. When there is a dead mouth of the pipeline within 200m of the insulation joint installation, the welding of the dead mouth should be carried out in the local uniform daily temperature (±5℃).

3. After the insulation joint is connected with the pipeline, it is not allowed to lift the pipeline within 5m to avoid damage to the insulation joint.

4. When the insulation joint is installed in the gas medium pipeline, it shall not be installed in the low-lying place buried in the pipeline.

5. The lifting speed of the insulation joint shall not be greater than 0.5mpa per minute.

6. After the insulation joint is connected with the pipeline, it should be corroded according to the requirements of the pipeline, and the surface temperature of the insulation joint is not allowed to be higher than 100℃ during the anticorrosion course.

7, before installation, only insulation function test (500V meter resistance should be greater than 2M ω and not lower than the marked data, should not be repeated hydraulic test).

8. Insulation joints shall not be used as thermal stress deformation compensation.
