Installation requirements:

1. The insulation joint shall be installed within 50 meters to avoid a dead opening to be welded.

2. After the insulation flange is connected with the pipeline, do not lift the pipeline within 5 meters of the connector.

3. Pressure test of insulation joint and pipeline instrument.

4. After the insulation joint is connected with the pipeline, the surface temperature of the insulation joint should not be higher than 120℃ during the repair and anti-corrosion work as required.

5. The insulation joint can be installed on the underground straight pipe section.

6. When the insulation joint is installed on the ground, it should be installed on the straight pipe section 20 meters away from the elbow and a support should be provided.

7. Avoid burying the installation in a place where there is perennial water.

8. The central wheelbase of the joint shall be installed on a straight line with the central wheelbase of the pipeline, and the two central wheelbases shall not be greater than 0.2mm when installed.
